An Gwang Hyeon is an artist based in Seoul, South Korea. 

He deconstructs music through ‘improvisation.’ Between notes that traverse creation and death repeatedly, he delves into a point where the notation surpasses the bounds of possibility. 

His work is 'momentary' or 'provisional.' He doesn’t ‘make’ or ‘compose’ a certain thing. He focuses on human tragedy, fate, and momentary intuition. He tries to strip away the aura of modern ‘conceptions and reason’. And he again tries to call upon the pure spiritual ritual of a primitive age, through his body.
